NbMicro1™ microglia culture medium is a pre-mixed version of Neurobasal™ + 10% FBS + Glutamax™. 

NbMicro1 is a modification of our NbActiv media line, that has been specifically formulated to grow and activate Microglia. In the presence of NbMicro1, microglia transition from a ramified state to a reactive state. This includes the non-phaogocytic  morphology into the phagocytic state. In the presence of NbActiv1, microglia remain in a ramified state until activated.
